Ikarus Fall
Photo series
 / 2022
Variable dimensions

A series of digitally altered self portraits in which the body becomes the site of an autofictional narrative. Through distortion, layering, and recontextualization, the work reimagines the classical greek myth of Ikarus as a metaphor for corporeal vulnerability and defiance.

By evoking the fall of Ikarus, the work explores the tension between ambition and limitation, presence and distortion — transforming personal imagery into a poetic inquiry on how bodies carry failure, and desire.
